Latest-generation Ford truck powered by HVO and hydrogen/hydrobiomethane unveiled
From 13 to 16 May, during Transpotec Logitec 2026, all the partners of the H-Dual project officially presented the new latest-generation Ford truck equipped with the innovative dual-fuel system developed for the decarbonization of heavy-duty transport.
Based on the Ford Trucks platform, the vehicle can operate using HVO diesel in combination with hydrogen or hydrobiomethane, representing a concrete and immediately applicable solution to reduce CO₂ emissions in the logistics and freight transport sector.
Its participation in Transpotec represented an important opportunity for dialogue among companies, industry operators and sustainable mobility stakeholders, confirming the growing interest in technologies capable of combining sustainability, efficiency and operational continuity.
Ecomotive Solutions, the manufacturer of the H-Dual technology, played a central role in the project, overseeing the development of the dual-fuel system and the testing activities on the prototype presented at the exhibition.
The H-Dual project was born from the collaboration between industrial and technological partners with the aim of accelerating the energy transition of commercial vehicles through innovative solutions compatible with existing infrastructures.
